Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 5 June 2025
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in, and access to, any programme, workshop, membership, or educational resource offered by Kithora ("Kithora", "we", "us", "our"), registered and operating from 188 Ratchadaphisek Road, Din Daeng, Bangkok 10400, Thailand.
By enquiring, registering, or attending any Kithora programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you are registering on behalf of another person, you confirm you have their authority to do so and that these terms apply to them.
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
2. Nature of Kithora Programmes
Kithora provides family communication skills education, shared learning resources, and community tools. All content and sessions are designed to develop practical communication habits and to share general information about family coordination and everyday household topics.
Kithora does not provide legal, financial, psychological, or other specialist advice. Facilitators are educators, not licensed practitioners. Nothing within any Kithora session, written resource, or digital material constitutes a professional recommendation in any regulated field.
Where a participant's situation may benefit from specialist support, Kithora will suggest they contact an appropriately qualified professional.
3. Enrolment and Participation
Enrolment is confirmed once payment has been received in full and a confirmation has been issued by Kithora. Kithora reserves the right to decline an enrolment where a programme may not suit a participant's needs, or where session capacity has been reached.
Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and other group members. Kithora operates a welcoming environment, and any conduct that disrupts this — including disrespect, hostility, or harassment — may result in removal from a session without refund.
Kithora programmes are intended for adults (18 years and over). Enrolment of a person under 18 requires written consent from a parent or guardian.
4. Fees and Payment
All fees are displayed in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Current programme fees are:
- Everyday Understanding Workshop — ฿3,800 per person
- Family Knowledge Hub — ฿6,500 per membership period
- Extended Family Communication Programme — ฿11,200 per family unit
Kithora reserves the right to update fees from time to time. Price changes will not affect enrolments that have already been confirmed and paid.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that plans sometimes change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- More than 14 days before a session or start date: A full refund will be issued, less a ฿300 administrative processing fee.
- 7 to 14 days before: A 50% refund of the total fee paid.
- Fewer than 7 days before, or non-attendance: No refund will be issued. The place may be transferred to another person upon written notice to Kithora at least 48 hours before the session.
If Kithora cancels or significantly reschedules a session, participants will receive a full refund of any fees paid, or the option to transfer their enrolment to a future date.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials shared during Kithora programmes — including handouts, written guides, slide content, and digital resources — are the intellectual property of Kithora. They are provided for personal learning use only.
Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared publicly, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from Kithora. This does not restrict participants from making personal notes or retaining their own workbooks.
7. Privacy and Data
Kithora handles all personal data in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). Information collected during enrolment is used to manage your participation and to contact you about your booking. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
8. Photographs and Recording
Kithora may occasionally photograph or record group sessions for educational or promotional purposes. Participation in a session constitutes consent to being included in such recordings unless you notify us in advance that you prefer not to be photographed.
Participants are asked not to photograph, record, or film other participants without their individual consent, in order to maintain a comfortable environment for everyone.
9. Limitation of Liability
Kithora provides educational content and community resources in good faith. To the extent permitted by Thai law, Kithora is not liable for any outcomes arising from the application of skills or information shared in programmes, nor for any loss arising from reliance on programme content.
Kithora does not accept liability for personal items brought to sessions, or for any travel or accommodation costs incurred in connection with attendance.
10. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in how Kithora operates or to comply with applicable law. The current version will always be available on this page. Where changes materially affect enrolled participants, Kithora will give reasonable notice by email.
Continued participation in any Kithora programme after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
